I have a broad range of experience, this has been gained having volunteered in the bereavement sector since 2013 working with both adults and children. I have undertaken the Awareness in Bereavement Care training with Cruse Bereavement Care. Further experience has been gained in various roles within the education sector allowing me to work with both children and families and get a sense of the experiences that can impact on the ability of children to learn and strive to reach their full potential. I have worked with children with behavioural issues as well as those with additional needs.

I provide person centred counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy and psychodynamic counselling, these can be combined  as an integrative process. By using these skills, I can find the best approach to suit your needs as we are all individual and there can be no one technique to fit all, it needs to be tailored to you and your needs.

Couples counselling is offered where you will be allocated a longer session to ensure that both parties voices can be heard and you both have the time and space you need to explore your relationship in a confidential and non-judgemental setting.

My relationship with clients is a respectful and dignified one where I will accompany you on your journey in a supportive non-judgemental manner allowing you to develop the skills and techniques in which my aim is to potentially empower you to move on through your journey.

I undertake regular clinical supervision and ensure my knowledge is up to date by attending regular continuing professional development sessions.
